Six months ago, Neova submitted a request, at its own initiative, to switch from the extraction of energy peat to the extraction of horticultural peat at Grimsås mosse. The Västra Götaland County Administrative Board listened to Återställ Våtmarker, the company Nexans and the residents of Grimsås. There will be no extraction of horticultural peat in Grimsås.

During the performance of “Rage” at Dramaten in Stockholm, Roxy Farhat, an artist and activist with the Restore Wetlands campaign, took to the stage with a banner and shouted a message to the audience. On the morning of 22 January, we carried out a graffiti protest outside the Ministry of Finance in Stockholm. Four women aged between 28 and 78 took part in the protest. The group represents the ‘NO’ campaign for the democratic initiative ‘Olydig Folkomröstning’ (Disobedient Referendum).
